Saturday, August 30, 2008 Waterbirth Process
I've been working on this for a few days and I'm excited to see it almost finished. The background was laid in tonight, and once it dries a bit, I will tighten/soften/blend till finished.

Ohh man this looks so amazing! The colours are fantastic. I wish i had the do-rae-me to buy it. :) Do you start with a grisaille/verdaccio underpainting?
thanks! no, i painted the figure first, then painted the background around her on the wood. An underpainting would have been helpful, though. I'd like to try it for the next one.
