I'm kind of working on two bodies of work at once. I don't feel like the black background paintings fit in with my upcoming show, but I've been enjoying them. We'll see where this goes. I'm trying to keep myself from running off in too many directions

I like how the afternoon sun is draped across her face. I wonder if I can paint that in somehow...
