Hint Mint

Harley Cross & Cooper Bates, owners of Hint Mint, hosted a dinner with some artist friends of theirs, and asked us to drop by. They are announcing a new awareness series tin (featuring one artists work) where the proceeds will go to victims of breast cancer. Here are a couple pictures from the evening.

This is the first layer of the face on my newest painting. She went through a few more sessions after I stopped filming, but the rest is mostly tightening. You can see the finished painting at my show next month.

Progress

I'm going to stop working on it for couple weeks because I have an illustration due and a piece for another group show coming up. I moved on to the background even though I'm not happy with the face yet. I will get back to it because I don't want to resort to the pirate eye-patch method.

Three Days

to do this much. I'm two days behind schedule. Last night I had a dream that I didn't get all my paintings finished in time for my show.

While cleaning my desk, I found this little guy. He occasionally moves a leg or two, so he's either dreaming or dying.

My ring for size reference.
