I just watched Spider Baby last night, perhaps that inspired this drawing a bit. Actually, I think I had started the drawing already when I decided to watch it. Anyway, I thought it was adorable. You almost forget that the girls are vicious killers.

Another commission drawing I'm working on.

Lucky Charms

Yesterday morning, while walking my dog, I looked down and spotted a nice four leaf clover in the neighbor's patch of grass. I took it home and looked through my book shelf for a book to dry it in. I thought this fish book was too thin but stuck the clover in it anyway and put a larger book on top of it for extra weight. Today I opened the book to check on the clover and an older four leaf clover fell out while I was flipping through the pages. Coincidentally, I had thought this book was perfect the last time I found the lucky charm as well.







Are these little leaves really lucky? That same day this happened:

July Group Shows

Next month, I will be in a two or three group shows. I saw this flyer posted at Artchival yesterday. The show is curated by Travis Louie and will take place at Copro Gallery in July. I will post more info later on this month. I have the piece prepped, I just need to paint it!



Kind of exciting to be in a show with Brom! One of my high school favorite artists hehe.

I also said yes to the Crazy for Cult show at Gallery 1988 which will also be in July! Much work to be done this month!
